How often, and where, should I have the battery of my quartz watch replaced?

We recommend that you have the battery changed when your quartz watch stops. If your model is equipped with a battery end of life (EOL) indication (as for the 630-631-633 chronograph mecaquartz calibres) and you observe that the seconds hand jumps every four to five seconds, this indicates that the battery is going to run out very soon.
Please note that it is not advisable to leave a used battery in your Jaeger-LeCoultre watch since its fluids may seep out, thus damaging the movement.

We advise you to entrust your Jaeger-LeCoultre timepiece to a Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique, or to an authorised Jaeger-LeCoultre dealer or technical service centre in order to have the battery replaced.
