Jaeger-LeCoultre goes back a long way with equestrian sports. In the early 1930s, a British officer based in India asked a Swiss businessman to design an elegant watch that was also capable of withstanding the rough activity of a polo match. This challenge gave birth to the Reverso and at the same time was the start of a long association between the watchmaker and the equestrian world.
This association has stood the test of time and was strengthened in 2010 with the appointment of Jaeger-LeCoultre as official timekeeper for the world’s most prestigious equestrian event, the Global Champions Tour.
