Jaeger-LeCoultre sponsors the Trippetts Challenge Tournament

May, 2012 - Played for the James Wentworth-Stanley Memorial Cup, inaugurated in 2007 at Cowdray Park Polo Club, the 22 Goal Tournament was created in memory of James Wentworth-Stanley, the polo-playing son of the Marchioness of Milford Haven. James died in December 2006, aged 21. The Milford Havens donated the cup as a warm-up tournament for Cowdray based High Goal teams playing in the Queens Cup and Gold Cup. The final is always played on the Number One ground at the Milford Haven home, Great Trippetts Farm.

This year the tournament saw Eduardo Carmignac’s Talandracas team win 8-6 against Inigo Zobels, Ayala team.

James Wentworth-Stanley Memorial Fund
The James Wentworth-Stanley Memorial Fund has been set up by James's parents to help raise awareness of anxiety, depression and suicide amongst young people and to tackle the shocking statistic that suicide is the largest cause of death of young men in the UK. The Fund is involved in suicide prevention through research, training, increasing available help and support for bereaved families.
