A record 20 teams entered the Jaeger-LeCoultre Dollar Cup, the first of Cowdray Park Polo Club’s six annual HPA polo tournaments to be played in 2013 with the support of Jaeger-LeCoultre.
The Final was a fast and exciting match with the action continuing right up to the final bell when Will Emerson lofted a dramatic and mighty shot to goal to secure victory for young Charlie Pidgeley’s side at 8-7.
Charlie Pidgeley was delighted to receive the Jaeger-LeCoultre Dollar Cup from Clare Milford Haven, polo player and Jaeger-LeCoultre Brand Ambassador, who also presented a Best Playing Pony rug to Saffron, owned and played by Jean du Plessis.
The second tournament in the Jaeger-LeCoultre HPA Series at Cowdray Park, The Jaeger-LeCoultre Duke of Sutherland Cup, has already opened and the Final of the prestigious 18 goal tournament will take place on 7th June.
