The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon Cylindrique à Quantième Perpétuel Jubilee automatic watch has been created in the highest tradition of watchmaking. At the heart of an extra-white platinum 42 mm diameter case, the automatic calibre Jaeger-LeCoultre 985 presents a new flying tourbillon featuring a cylindrical balance-spring.

The use of a cylindrical balance-spring in the flying tourbillon guarantees high chronometrical performance making this platinum watch, the most precise perpetual calendar tourbillon in the world.

The dial of the automatic watch displays the perpetual calendar indications in a balanced and extremely clear manner: day, month, date, year and moon phase. All the information is regulated by only one corrector. Once set, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon Cylindrique à Quantième Perpétuel Jubilee will not need any adjustment until 2100. The perpetual calendar mechanism takes into account the length of each month and counts 29th February every leap year.

In hommage to the pioneering role the Swiss watchmaker played, the 22 carat pink gold oscillator reveals a representation of the gold medal brought back by Jaeger-LeCoultre from the Universal Exhibition of Paris in 1889.
