Once again this year, Jaeger-LeCoultre is gearing up for a polo season that looks set to be a thriller. Continuing a long tradition and a long standing affiliation with the world of polo, Jaeger-LeCoultre will be involved in this new Polo Season sponsoring some of the best competitions around the world and being well represented on the finest polo fields by its ambassadors, fired up by sporting ambition. They will proudly sport the Reverso, the iconic polo watch designed over 83 years ago in order to withstand the blows of a polo match while losing none of its elegance.

UK Polo Season 2014
Jaeger-LeCoultre has been the Official Time Keeper to Cowdray Park Polo Club for seven years, supporting a club synonymous with tradition, the home to British polo.
2014 marks the second year as title sponsor of Six HPA tournaments played at Cowdray Park Polo Club. known as the Jaeger-LeCoultre series. These tournaments include:
• Jaeger-LeCoultre Dollar Cup (8-12goal), 10th-26th May
• Jaeger-LeCoultre Duke of Sutherland Cup (15-18 goal), 13th May-1st June
• Jaeger-LeCoultre Harrison Cup (12-15 goal), 19th July-2nd August
• Jaeger-LeCoultre Holden White Cup (4-8 goal), 14th July-3rd August
• Jaeger-LeCoultre Challenge Cup (15-18 goal), 21st July-3rd August
• Jaeger-LeCoultre Autumn Cup (8-12 goal), 8th-21st September
Jaeger-LeCoultre also sponsors the Trippetts Challenge. The 22 goal tournament was created in memory of James Wentworth-Stanley, the polo-playing son of the Marchioness of Milford Haven. James died in December 2006, aged 21. The James Wentworth-Stanley Memorial Fund has been set up by James's parents to help raise awareness of anxiety, depression and suicide amongst young people. Clare Milford Haven donated the Cup as a warm-up tournament for High Goal teams playing in the Queens Cup and Gold Cup. The final is always played on the Number One ground at the Milford Haven home, Great Trippetts Farm, West Sussex.
Additionally, Jaeger-LeCoultre is the official timekeeper to the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup one of the most prestigious high goal tournaments in the UK. (22 goal), 22nd June-20th July 2014. Jaeger-LeCoultre will be delighted to present the Most Valuable Player with a Reverso watch personalised in the Cowdray Park emblem on Finals day on 20th July.
Argentina Polo Season 2014
In 2013, Jaeger-LeCoultre enjoyed the honour of becoming the official sponsor and timekeeper of the 120th Argentine Polo Open at Palermo – one of the oldest polo tournament in the world, which celebrated last year its 120th anniversary. From mid-November 2014, polo aficionados will be able to enjoy this fascinating championship featuring three weeks of competition pitting the world’s eight best teams (28-40 goal) against each other at the Campo Argentino de Polo in Palermo, a Buenos Aires district popularly known as the “Cathedral of polo”. The best polo players in the world as Eduardo Novillo Astrada are playing in this tournament.
