Jaeger-LeCoultre is pleased to announce Proto Zero initiatives have successfully raised HKD1.8 million to ECSAF since the first launch.

The Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrates its 180 years anniversary in 2013; at the same time, it is pleased to announce Proto Zero initiatives have successfully raised HKD1.8 million to the End Child Sexual Abuse Foundation (“ECSAF”) association since the first launch. The donation amounts have been continuously supporting development of ECSAF’s Mobile Classroom. Launched in 2011, this initiative is to offer the prototypes of the most iconic limited-edition watchmaking creations from the Grande Maison.

A cocktail, followed by a private dinner unveiled the 5 new Proto Zero models:
Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon Cylindrique à Quantième Perpétuel Jubilée watch,
Master Ultra Thin Jubilée watch,
Master Grande Tradition a Repetition Minute Pink Gold watch,
AMVOX 5 World Chronograph Cermet watch,
Atmos Marqueterie L’Attente clock.

The night was highlighted with appearance of Hollie Steel, the fifteen-year old girl coming from England, who performed four renowned songs with her amazing and powerful operatic vocals. Hollie wished to deliver the message of love and support through her beautiful songs, and invited guests to join hands with Jaeger-LeCoultre in supporting ECSAF in this festive season.

One of the Proto Zero collection pieces, Master Ultra Thin Jubilee, had also been auctioned during the dinner. Guests were strongly supportive and enthusiastic in bidding this unique “Proto Zero” piece. The amount raised would be fully donated to ECSAF.

Jaeger-LeCoultre was also honored to invite Hong Kong actor Mr. Louis Koo, partnered with celebrity Creative Director Mr. Alvin Goh and Singaporean photographer Mr. ND Chow, to participate in photo-shooting and filming campaign for “Proto Zero”. Mr. Louis Koo spared no effort in promotion of protection and caring to children. He believes, children are future of the society. Effective action and protection from physical and psychological tortures and ravages must not be neglected

Guillain Maspetiol, Jaeger-LeCoultre Managing Director North Asia says “Jaeger-LeCoultre is proud to report a great success for the Proto Zero charity project in the past two years. Thanks to the kind support of the connoisseurs, we are now able to present the proceeds of the Proto Zero project to ECSAF to protect children and youngsters in Hong Kong from sexual abuse. The Proto Zero project marks a significant and iconic step of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s effort of fulfilling our social responsibilities by supporting local charitable organizations.”
