In partnership with the great car manufacturer Aston Martin, Jaeger-LeCoultre launched the AMVOX line. The letters A and M refer to Aston Martin while VOX is an echo of the famous Memovox, since the first AMVOX was fitted with an alarm, the Jaeger-LeCoultre 918 Calibre. In 2005, the AMVOX2 Chronograph offered a revolutionary chronograph triggering system. The two traditional push-pieces were replaced by a vertical-trigger case. The START, STOP and RESET functions are operated merely by pressing the glass.
