The second generation watch in the AMVOX collection was presented in September 2005 at Aston Martin's facility in Gaydon, followed by 'DBS' editions launched in 2007. Both brands once again redefined their high performance standards, and the AMVOX2 Chronograph stunned technical enthusiasts and watch connoisseurs alike with its patented technical breakthrough: the vertical-trigger chronograph. This ingenious mechanism makes it possible to start, stop and reset the chronograph simply by pressing on the sapphire crystal of the watch case, so there is no need for push buttons. Bringing together powerful design and daring performance, the AMVOX2 becomes the ultimate driver's watch, and expresses a clear demonstration of high-tech engineering combined with the finest watchmaking expertise. Inspired by the car's start button and setting the path to incomparable watchmaking/automobile challenges, the AMVOX2 brought ever closer the Jaeger-LeCoultre watch and the Aston Martin car, and paved the decisive way for the Transponder project (see The Journey).
