Today at Geneva’s Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie, Jaeger-LeCoultre unveils its latest creations— exceptional timepieces testifying to the constant quest for technical perfection and aesthetic harmony.
Invention . For Jeager LeCoultre, this word has become a philosophy that for nearly 180 years has motivated all those who have contributed and continue to contribute to, the success of the Manufacture.
400 patents that have changed the history of Haute Horlogerie, hundreds of innovations that have become revolutions, tens of thousands of watchmaking operations handled to perfection, timepieces that have become living legends: this is Jaeger-LeCoultre.
Duomètre à Sphérotourbillon
The most recent of all the inventions to have punctuated the long history of Jaeger-LeCoultre combines within a single timepiece the four branches which, from the very roots of the Manufacture, have forged its destiny. The new Duomètre à Sphérotourbillon represents the perfect meeting point of Precision, Reliability, Functions and Style.
Beneath its apparently classic and yet distinctive and instantly recognisable appearance, inspired by historical pocketwatches and in harmony with the most demanding horological codes, the Duomètre à Sphérotourbillon, equipped with a movement based on an entirely unprecedented mechanical concept, boasts superlative timing performance while presenting a truly amazing visual show. It is indeed what one might call the ultimate watch.
The Master watch line takes its inspiration from the great 19th-century tradition of complication pocket-watches.
The new Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon watch displays restrained elegance and features fine, taut lines with its new pink-gold case. This Manufacture-made calibre and its ultra-light grade 5 titanium carriage stem from decades of chronometric and technical research & development.
For its part, the new Master Ultra Thin Réserve de Marche, one of the most emblematic mechanical complications in the world of Haute Horlogerie, has found its finest expression. Two classic complications – a power-reserve indication and a pointer-type date display – are elegantly associated in this model.
In 1959 Jaeger-LeCoultre created the first diving watch with an alarm in watchmaking history to remind divers when it was time to start returning to the surface. This year Jaeger-LeCoultre will introduce the Jaeger-LeCoultre Deep Sea Vintage Chronograph as a tribute to one of the great legendary watches.
Endlessly interpreted on both its front and its back, the Reverso watch plays with time.
The new Grande Reverso Calendar watch reflects a perfect blend of expertise, refinement and elegance.
With the Grande Reverso 1931 Rouge watch, Jaeger-LeCoultre introduces a new version equipped with a red dial, inspired by the historical model and radiating a blend of refinement, sophistication and elegance.
