On 16th January, at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH), the most prestigious watch fair in the world, Jaeger-LeCoultre unveiled its 2012 collection to the international press and its authorised retailers. Simultaneously, Jaeger-LeCoultre presented its latest timepieces on its website.
Jaeger-LeCoultre is, at this moment, taking its latest creations on the road for the 6th Edition of the “SIHH Around the World” event.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Boutique in London hosted the event on the 8th February and was honoured to have watch specialist Tim Barber, Editor of 00/24, presenting the new collection. He highlighted that “the timepieces on display reflect perfectly Jaeger-LeCoultre’s strong legacy, tradition and ethos” making everyone in attendance excited about the grand unveiling of the five exceptional watches from the 2012 collection.
Five wonders of fine watchmaking were presented in the luxurious leather showcase that night:
Duomètre à Quantième Lunaire 40.5
Master Grande Tradition à Répétition Minutes
Master Ultra Thin Réserve de Marche
Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon
More than 60 guests were welcomed in the London Boutique, most of them wearing their own Jaeger-LeCoultre watches. All were eager to try on the exceptional Sphérotourbillon on their wrists, to interact with Richard Phipps-Carter the Watchmaker and to get insights from Tim Barber on the latest trends in the watch market.
After the event the watches were securely sent to Dubai, the next stop on their SIHH Around the World tour.
