Jaeger-LeCoultre opens the doors of its Manufacture and reveals its secrets to the Chinese customers of the Brand in a new exhibition entitled, “The Manufacture comes to you”.

When first you hold a Jaeger-LeCoultre watch in your hands, you find yourself carried away by the unique character of its pure lines and its perfection. But as you start to look more closely at this mysterious microcosm, you begin to think of the extraordinary expertise and passion of the people who created it. You soon begin to find yourself trying to imagine what actually goes on behind the doors of the Manufacture’s workshops, locked away in the serene and silent calm of the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland.

To satisfy this curiosity among the Chinese fans of Jaeger-LeCoultre, the Brand has created a travelling exhibition which will visit the major cities of China telling the story of its development. ”The Manufacture comes to you” brings together the past and the present to reveal the unique universe of this most remarkable exemplar of the great Swiss watchmaking tradition.

”The Manufacture comes to you” is a journey through time in several parts. Visitors will follow the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre, from its humble beginnings to its position of pre-eminence in the watchmaking world today. Moving from discovery to discovery, the visitor will watch as, time and time again, the impossible meets the everyday and finds itself transformed into an avant-garde marvel. This voyage through dream space penetrates to the very heart of this magical alchemy between past and present, between man and nature, which has given life to Jaeger-LeCoultre’s greatest achievements. From the Reverso to the Master Control, the exhibition unveils the individual skills and techniques that go into the creation of each timepiece, from initial conception right through to the final touches. The visitor discovers the timepieces and steps into the reality of the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre, breathing in its atmosphere, looking out into the landscape, and experiencing the way of life at Jaeger-LeCoultre.
