Watchmagazine Readers’ top prize in Austria

This year, eighteen timepieces from prestigious watch brands competed for the “watch of the year 2009” vote from readers of watchmagazine in Austria. The Master Grande Ultra Thin in pink gold was the top selection, winning the first place in Upper Austria and Styria and the second place in Carinthia, Salzburg and Tirol. Ultra-thin watches have historically been viewed as a true speciality of the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre. Jaeger-LeCoultre pursued this tradition in 2008 by introducing a new watch with all the virtues of absolute finesse, the Master Grande Ultra Thin. With its 40 mm case featuring pure and clean lines, this timepiece continues to win acclaim as it epitomizes horological refinement – from the subtle design of its lugs to the clarity of its dial featuring a small seconds subdial.
