Jaeger-LeCoultre is pleased to announce the winner of the “MAD ABOUT REVERSO” Contest that ran on Facebook from March 2 through March 26, 2012. Over 50 participants pictured themselves back in the 1960’s and prepared an advertising campaign for the Grande Reverso Ultra Thin Tribute to 1931 watch with the Instagram application. All the creations were featured on Facebook.
The iconic Grande Reverso Ultra Thin Tribute to 1931 watch goes to Kaveh Hearian (US) for his work “The Reverso. Reframing Time Since 1931”. Kaveh Hearian’s original advertising campaign was the winner in the final selection process and the jury congratulates Kaveh on the choice of his tagline “Time is luxury, invest it wisely”.
The unique Reverso edition's art deco style, praised by “Mad Men” series creator Matthew Weiner, inspired many emotional and creative campaigns that were submitted to Jaeger-LeCoultre - The Official Page and users were active in their voting. However the winning campaign had not only to be among the top five voted ones, but also to comply with the participation rules. The jury was strict in its choice, eliminating those works from the competition that did not meet the set out criteria for quality, originality and general atmosphere of the 1960’s.
