A spectacular set design served as a backdrop for an unforgettable evening during which Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre once again demonstrated its unsurpassed creativity, its craftsmanship and spirit of invention.
With light effects and projections dazzling the walls of the historic Palazzo Bagatti Valsecchi, home to the prestigious delicatessen “Il Salumaio di Montenapoleone”, Manufacture Jaeger- LeCoultre, the reference in high watchmaking, revealed to its prestigious guests its latest watchmaking creation: the Duomètre Sphérotourbillon, transporting them to the enchanting atmosphere of the Grande Maison’s very first Italian boutique, the Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique loacted at number 1, Via Montenapoleone in the heart of Milan's fashion and luxury district.
At 9.30 p.m. Claudio Angè, Director of Jaeger-LeCoultre Italy, alongside Erminia Cutrì, Director of the Milan boutique, and Jérôme Favier, Sales and Trade Marketing Director of Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre in Le Sentier, Switzerland, invited friends of the brand on stage for the traditional ribbon-cutting: Managing Director of A.C. Milan Adriano Galliani, together with head coach Massimiliano Allegri, actor Riccardo Scamarcio, former Ferrari driver Renè Arnoux, award-winning chef Davide Oldani, television journalist and ""Matrix"" host Alessio Vinci, Dr. Franco Cologni and beautiful local actress Cristiana Capotondi.
Famous jet-setters, entertainment world and industry personalities were present at the event, from gallery manager Renato Cardi accompanied by his wife Anna, to the President of the Fondazione Umberto Veronesi, Dr. Paolo Veronesi, stage actress and famous A.C. Milan fan Bedy Moratti, the President of Ca’ del Bosco and the Consorzio di Franciacorta Maurizio Zanella, former A.C. Milan footballer (and now excellent golfer) Daniele Massaro, “l’eclettica signora della Milano che conta” (the eclectic lady of Milan who counts), the beautiful Alessia Ventura accompanied by Francesco Sarcina, lead singer of Le Vibrazioni, Gabriella Dompé, industrialist Franco Beretta, architectural designer Patrizia Pozzi and more.
A typically Milanese menu, characteristic of the historic venue, and rivers of champagne from Maison Louis Roederer delighted the over 200 guests present at the event. The new Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique has been designed with all the care and sober style of Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre in order to recreate the serene, peaceful atmosphere of the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland. The premises of the boutique harmoniously blend the best of design and contemporary materials with symmetry, refined lines and the pure spirit of the Art Deco period during which the creativity of Jaeger-LeCoultre gave birth to its icon, the legendary Reverso.
In this exclusive space high watchmaking collectors and enthusiasts will be able to get to know and discover the Manufacture's greatest watch creations, such as the 101, the smallest mechanical calibre in the world, the High Complications, the Atmos clocks and the special editions created exclusively for Jaeger-LeCoultre Boutiques.
