Jaeger-LeCoultre partners with the 16th Shanghai International Film Festival for the third consecutive year.

In 2011, Jaeger-LeCoultre announced that it would partner with the Shanghai International Film Festival for a period of three years, the primary purpose of which was to support the restoration of a number of classic Chinese films. This was the first time that a private watch company had made a commitment to support the restoration of classic films in China. The company has remained a steadfast supporter in this endeavour to conserve China’s rich cinematic history.

Uniting the 180 Years of Creativity and a Century of Chinese Cinematic Art
A press conference will be held in the Shanghai Exhibition Centre on the opening day of the festival to demonstrate Jaeger-LeCoultre's support for the development of the Chinese film industry.
As 2013 marks the 180th anniversary of Jaeger-LeCoultre, distinguished friends of the brand will join the celebrations, including actress and Jaeger-LeCoultre brand ambassador Zhao Wei, British director Tom Hooper - the President of the Jury for the 16th Shanghai International Film Festival, American director Oliver Stone, Chinese actor Wang Xueqi, Guo Tao, actresses Zhang Xinyi, Dong Xuan, Liang Jing, An Yixuan, Singaporean actress Fann Wong, Taiwanese actor-director Leon Dai, actress Vivian Hsu and actor Godfrey Gao. The talents will join Jaeger-LeCoultre at the evening benefit gala auction to support the restoration of classic Chinese films.
