Focus

Jean-Léon Reutter

In 1928, the engineer Jean-Léon Reutter defied the laws of physics by designing a movement that could function for several centuries without wear and tear or the need for external intervention. Intrigued by this revolutionary invention, Jaeger-LeCoultre offered him the use of the expertise at the Manufacture in order to perfect his mechanism and develop it further. And thus the Atmos clock was born.
