Located in the historical Park Avenue Armory built in the 19th century, this edition is a true celebration of Fine Watchmaking during which both enthusiasts and connoisseurs will be able to admire the rarest crafts of the Manufacture.
The unique spirit of invention and the 180 century-old skills of the Grande Maison will be brought to life by the Hybris Artistica, a collection of twelve precious timepieces that will premiere exclusively in New York at TimeCrafters.
Symbolizing the horological excellence of the Manufacture and combining as never before watchmaking art and transcendent creativity, the Master Grande Tradition Gyrotourbillon 3, Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon Céleste, Master Gyrotourbillon 1, Duomètre à Grande Sonnerie, Duomètre Sphérotourbillon, Duomètre Sphérotourbillon Enamel, Duomètre Sphérotourbillon Pocket Watch, Grande Reverso Tourbillon Squelette, Reverso Cordonnet Neva, Rendez-Vous Celestial, Rendez-Vous Tourbillon and Atmos Marquetry Enamel will be in the spotlight of the show. The handcrafted expertise and creative freedom of the Manufacture perpetuated since 1833 will be even more honoured with a collection of historical models from the Jaeger-LeCoultre Heritage Collection that encapsulates the inspiration of today’s watchmaking creations. Grand Complications pockets watches from the 19th century including minute repeaters, perpetual calendars and chronographs and the most refined decorations and crafts including engraving, enamelling and gemsetting will embark visitors on a true watchmaking journey through centuries.
Steadily confirming its ability to anticipate the future of Fine Watchmaking, Jaeger-LeCoultre will ultimately showcase the eleventh creation in the Hybris Mechanica collection, Hybris Mechanica 11, the slimmest minute repeater in its category featuring for the first time a flying tourbillon combined with a flying balance and a peripheral self-winding system.
