A unique movement – the Gyrotourbillon
Presented in a decorative expression inspired by the finest Haute Horlogerie creations, this extraordinary watch mechanism overturns long-established principles: for the very first time, a wristwatch is equipped with a cylindrical-shaped balance-spring. In a splendid approach to absolute precision, the three-dimensional movements of the spherical tourbillon represent a constant source of fascination for the observer, thanks to the exceptional rotation speed of its two carriages – one rotation in 18.75 seconds for the inner carriage and one per one minute for the outer carriage. Universally acclaimed at the time of its launch barely four years ago, this revolution in the world of the tourbillon now finds an entirely natural aesthetic expression in the Reverso, featuring a characteristic shape that further highlights the absolute beauty of this peerless technical accomplishment.
