AMVOX2 Chronograph

This pushpiece-free chronograph is the second stage in the partnership between Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aston Martin: its functions are operated simply by pressing the sapphire crystal, at 12 o'clock for the start and stop functions, and at 6 o'clock to reset to zero. The heart of this ingenious and exclusive vertical-trigger chronograph lies in the red levers appearing through the dial opening revealing a wealth of amazing mechanical details.

Vertical-trigger mechanism

Hinted at by the visible red levers, an ingenious pivoting mechanism enables the wearer to use the chronograph functions simply by pressing the sapphire crystal of the watch. The chronograph is started and stopped by pressing the crystal at 12 o’clock, and reset by a similar gesture at 6 o’clock.

Selector device

So as to avoid an inadvertent gesture accidentally activating or stopping the chronograph, a three-position selector device placed on the side of the case at 9 o’clock may be used to lock the functions at will and at any time (before or during a measurement).

Night lights

A mechanical design featuring astonishing details and inspired by the Aston Martin world. The numerals, hands and chronograph counters light up in the dark, highlighting the functions of Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 751B and displaying the sterling qualities of reliability, sturdiness, longevity and precision.
