The Manufacture has reintroduced this emblematic function in an elegant and classic timepiece. With an unprecedented acoustic performance, this mechanical alarm houses the new Jaeger-LeCoultre 956 Calibre which incorporates the Manufacture’s latest technical developments.

A legendary calibre

In 1956 the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 815 has become part of modern watchmaking history, the first automatic alarm watch. Two years later, Jaeger-LeCoultre launched the first Memovox with the Worldtime function in its centre and the first Memovox Parking, which sounded an alarm to remind its owner when it was time to feed the parking meter!

A mechanical alarm with unprecedented performance

This timepiece is driven by an automatic movement, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 956. This calibre is the result of the latest developments following in the wake of the Manufacture’s many alarm function movements. Its long-term performance is enhanced by its large variable-inertia balance, its ceramic ball bearings and its 45-hour power reserve.

Classicism and refinement

The 40 mm case with its elegant and curved lines, together with its pure silver-coloured dial and its date indicator housed in a window at 3 o’clock, make this timepiece the most classical and refined of all watches with an alarm function.
