An aesthetic challenge

To ensure easy read-off of the dial indications while preserving the overall transparency effect, the display of the main perpetual calendar functions is provided by transparent pivoting discs that provide easy and instant read-off of the corresponding value by a contrasting effect as they move over a lighter-coloured sector.
