Master Grand Tourbillon

The Master Grand Tourbillon is equipped with the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 978, an automatic tourbillon with a titanium carriage and high-inertia balance. It is available only as limited editions: 300 pieces for the platinum model and 575 for the rose gold model.

Tourbillon carriage

The robustly-built titanium carriage in grade 5 titanium weighs a mere 0.28 grams and thus requires a smaller than usual mount of energy to operate, thereby further enhancing precision. The special alloy used to make it enables the craftsmen to decorate this carriage with hand-polished bevels.

Pointer-type jumping date display

An ingenious patented jumping date mechanism has been developed so as not to hide the Tourbillon carriage from view. The 15th and 16th date of each month are positioned on either side of the tourbillon carriage opening. The date can be adjusted in either direction.

Monobloc rotor in 22-carat gold

The oscillating weight is made from a single block of 22-carat pink gold. The inscriptions are magnificently engraved in relief. The designers have created a dedicated opening enabling one to admire the tourbillon through the rotor.
