Master Compressor Extreme Tourbillon
Uncompromising on precision and reliability, extremely resistant thanks to the design of its case, this timepiece bears the inventive signature of Jaeger-LeCoultre. Its tourbillon regulator accompanies a high-precision automatic movement that beats at the rate of 28,800 vibrations an hour and has a very large balance while also displaying a second time zone and a date adjustable in both directions.

Tourbillon cageThe tourbillon cage is strongly constructed. In grade 5 titanium, it weighs just 0.28 grams and therefore requires less drive energy, yet another guarantee of precision. The particular alloy used makes it possible to polish the cage angles by hand. |
Date handSo as not to detract the eye from the tourbillon cage, the dates 15 and 16 are located on either side of the tourbillon opening. An ingenious mechanism allows the hand to make the greater jump between these two dates. Despite this watchmaking complication, the date remains synchronised with the travel time zone, and so can jump either forwards or backwards. |
Shock absorber systemAn air cushion absorbs 50% of all vibration and shock energy. This shock absorber system protects the movement and contributes to the watch’s optimum reliability and precision. |
