AMVOX2 Chronograph DBS

It draws inspiration from the powerful aesthetics of the Aston Martin DBS and is equipped with the patented Jaeger-LeCoultre vertical-trigger chronograph system. This ingenious mechanism serves to activate the functions simply by pressing the sapphire watch crystal. The chronograph function can be started or stopped by pressing at 12 o’clock, while the counters are reset to zero by pressing at 6 o’clock. A central dial opening reveals the ruthenium-coloured bridges and mainplate of Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 751E, along with the operating indication disc adorned with the famous winged Aston Martin emblem.

Vertical-trigger mechanism

Hinted at by the visible red levers, an ingenious pivoting mechanism enables the wearer to use the chronograph functions simply by pressing the sapphire crystal of the watch. The chronograph is started and stopped by pressing the crystal at 12 oclock, and reset by a similar gesture at 6 oclock.

A distinctively mechanical and transparent aesthetic appeal

The central dial opening serves to reveal the ruthenium-coloured bridges and mainplate. The transparent bridge supporting the chronograph counters is shaped so as to circumvent them and feature a round open space at 6 o’clock to leave room for the movement operating indication adorned with the famous Aston Martin winged emblem.

Selection mechanism

To avoid accidentally starting or stopping the chronograph, a three-position selection device, positioned on the side of the case at 9 o’clock, serves to lock any of the functions at any time (before or while using the chronograph).
