Jaeger-LeCoultre Polo Team wins the “art´otel Cup” in Berlin

Eva Bruehl honoured as “Polo Character 2008”

On August 27-28, the finals of the AXA Cup, art´otel Cup and German Championship in high goal polo were played in Berlin.

An audience of more than 1,000 people enjoyed the sunshine and high class polo. With great interest, they watched Eva Bruehl, best German female player with handicap of +1 and Thomas Winter, best German male player with handicap of +5 as well as Max Bosch with handicap of +1, a talented young player who is already playing at the international level.

In a very tight chukka on the final Sunday, the Jaeger-LeCoultre team won the “art´otel Cup” against Team ONE in overtime 7:6. Afterwards, the teams of BSS and Park Plaza battled for the German Championship. Thanks to an extraordinary last chukka, team Park Plaza won the title.

During the awards ceremony, Jaeger-LeCoultre announced the “Polo Character 2008” and offered Eva Bruehl a Reverso Squadra Lady.
