On Friday August 31st, 2007, Jaeger-LeCoultre CEO, Jérôme Lambert, hosted a magical evening for 300 people at the Venice International Film Festival. With the unveiling of a new exceptional collection of High Jewellery timepieces, the Manufacture once again demonstrated its creativity, its modern touch and its ability to constantly reinvent horology. Celebrities gathered at the event included Diane Kruger , wearing one of the Manufacture's most famous creations: the diamond-set 101 Etrier, equipped with the world's smallest mechanical movement. Joely Richardson wore the new Extraordinary watch, La Tulipe. Judith Godrèche, who flew in from Paris accompanied by Maurice Barthélémy, wore a Reverso Serti Neige. Indian actress Karisma Kapoor elegantly represented the talent and beauty of her country. The event was of course studded with Italian stars such as Valeria Solarino, Anna Valle, Claudia Gerini and Eva Riccobono.
Two Extraordinary watches sparkled intensely.
Crafted by the exceptionally skilled gem-setters of the Manufacture, the creation of La Rose and La Tulipe, each with over 3,000 precious stones, achieve a level of sophistication and refinement unprecedented in the field of jewellery timepieces. The result, they glitter like flowers at sunrise.
