Master Grand Tourbillon

Tourbillon carriage

The robustly-built titanium carriage in grade 5 titanium weighs a mere 0.28 grams and thus requires a smaller than usual mount of energy to operate, thereby further enhancing precision. The special alloy used to make it enables the craftsmen to decorate this carriage with hand-polished bevels.

Pointer-type jumping date display

An ingenious patented jumping date mechanism has been developed so as not to hide the Tourbillon carriage from view. The 15th and 16th date of each month are positioned on either side of the tourbillon carriage opening. The date can be adjusted in either direction.

Tribute to Antoine LeCoultre

To honour Antoine LeCoultre and celebrate the opening of the Heritage Gallery, a special recess in the presentation box of this exceptional watch houses a fragment of stone from the wall of Antoine LeCoultre’s workshop, which was taken down to build the Gallery entrance.
