Jaeger-LeCoultre highlights its horlogical expertise and celebrates its 175th anniversary
From November 1st to 16th 2008, an exceptional exhibition presenting the Brand’s finest current and historical timepieces, including the 1833 collection was held in the Gertrud D. Galleries in the artistic centre of the Dutch capital.
During the 16 days of this exhibition, visitors enjoyed an opportunity to fine-tune their watchmaking knowledge and skills by taking part in one of the 16 Master Class sessions on Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 875, the movement powering the Reverso Grande Date.
Participants in this first watchmaking lessons were delighted to meet the master-watchmaker from the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre and to immerse themselves in the secrets of this mechanical movement. During this period, the apprentice watchmakers were also able to admire a unique collection of Atmos clocks, including the new Atmos 561 by Marc Newson, which was thus given its first preview presentation in Benelux.
