Diane Kruger at the Berlinale
Diane Kruger wore a Jaeger-LeCoultre timepiece at the 59th Annual Berlin International Film Festival
The 59th Annual Berlin International Film Festival also known as the “Berlinale” opened Thursday evening. The Festival was running from February 5-15, 2009 in Germany’s capital city. Alongside Venice and Cannes, the Berlinale is one of the top Film Festivals in Europe.
On Monday, February 9th, the famous Cinema for Peace charity gala was held, where internationally renowned German actress, Diane Kruger, wore a Jaeger-LeCoultre timepiece: Joaillerie 101 Etrier set with Baguette-Diamonds. Diane Kruger has been a Jaeger-LeCoultre ambassador since February 2008.
This was the Cinema’s 8th charity gala held during the Berlinale since 2002. The goal of Cinema for Peace is to “create a platform for peace and tolerance. This Charity gala is a symbol of peace, freedom and tolerance, a symbol with a lasting effect on the world of film and media, initiating important projects and the free exchange of ideas.”
