Argò Watch Prize 2008
L’OROLOGIO magazine awards first prize to the Reverso Gyrotourbillon 2
The Argò Watch Prize 2008 gives pride of place to the preferences of watch enthusiasts. For the past 15 years, it has proved a reliable indicator of developments on the watchmaking scene, based on preferences expressed by readers either through the dedicated cards published monthly in the specialised L’OROLOGIO and CHRONO WORLD magazines, or on the Argò publishing house website.
In cooperation with the editorial teams of these two leading Italian watch magazines, the publisher has awarded the 2008 Argò Prize to five watches presented during the past year in the following categories: technical, simple, chronograph, sports and ladies’ watches.
The Reverso Gyrotourbillon 2 received the 1st prize in the technical category, an award that will be presented to the brand in an official ceremony.
The 2nd and 3rd prizes went to Patek Philippe (for Ref. 5207) and Ulysse Nardin (Sonata Silicium). The complete watch rankings are published in issue 174 of L’OROLOGIO.
