Jaeger-LeCoultre awarded with the “Golden Wheel Award 2009“
The iconic timepiece of the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre, the Reverso, earns yet another accolade with the "Golden Wheel Award 2009" - Ten Years Classics, both in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
This award is organized by the professional Watch Critics magazine founded 10 years ago and published by the famous connoisseur Mr. Alan Chung of CDV Group, in Hong Kong and China. Readers, dealers and media across Greater China participate in the annual vote which selects the ten most collected and renowned classics of the last ten years. This year, Jaeger-LeCoultre was among this exclusive selection with the Reverso, and proudly received the award in an official ceremony held in Shanghai.
Viewed as an authentic "Oscar" within the Chinese luxury market, this award is regarded as an ultimate token of recognition. During this year’s event, Mr. Alan Chung also emphasised the deep-felt respect harboured in China for these unique timepieces inspired by an enduring passion for fine craftsmanship: "Wristwatches could never have achieved their prominent position in the luxury world without the endeavours of the people behind them.
