Le Mans & the AMVOX2 Chronograph
Racing performances on the wrist of Harold Primat
The driver of the Aston Martin Racing LMP1 009 car, Harold Primat, did us the honour of wearing the number 1 prototype of the new AMVOX2 Chronograph Racing titanium limited edition on the Le Mans 24 Hours racing track.
Throughout the race, strapped firmly to the wrist of the Swiss competitor, the watch admirably withstood the extreme conditions of the legendary Sarthe track, while proving its extreme reliability. The average amplitude and the average rate (in 6 positions) of the number 1 prototype watch – with the chronograph function activated – were measured before and after the race. The comparative results demonstrate the perfect reliability of the AMVOX2 Chronograph Racing which remained completely unperturbed by the inevitable impacts and tough conditions of the famous endurance race.
The AMVOX2 Chronograph Racing is issued in two limited series of 100 each, in black PVD-coated grade 5 titanium or in grade 5 titanium. A third limited edition of 24 will also be available exclusively from the Jaeger-LeCoultre Paris Boutique on the Place Vendôme and will carry number 008 on the back of its grade 5 titanium case.
Check out the LeClub area for report on this legendary race that follows driver Harold Primat and the watch’s performances, along with pictures of the three limited series.
