Jaeger-LeCoultre causes a sensation at the Mostra
A festival full of surprises
Jaeger-LeCoultre caused a sensation at the Venice International Film Festival from 2nd to 12th September. The Manufacture outfitted the biggest stars with its unmistakable jewellery and timepieces to once again show its support of the cinema world.
One of the festival’s highlights was the Jaeger-LeCoultre Night on 8th September to which the Manufacture invited actors, stars, ambassadors and friends of the brand.
From Eva Mendes to Diane Kruger, from Darren Turner to Eduardo Novillo Astrada, from Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, to Joaquim De Almeida and talented actress Catherine Deneuve, they were all there to help Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Calibre 101 and to attend the unveiling of the Hybris Mechanica 55 set, the horological masterpiece trilogy with a total of 55 complications.
To end the festival, the “Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory to the Filmmaker Award” was presented to Sylvester Stallone on 12th September in the Sala Grande of the Palazzo del Cinema on the Lido during the closing ceremonies. The awards ceremony featured the world premiere of clips from the new film written and directed by Sylvester Stallone, The Expendables, which also features Stallone in addition to Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren and Mickey Rourke.
