Jaeger-LeCoultre Belgian Polo Masters 2009 – 3rd edition
Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Swiss team won the Cup at the 3rd Jaeger-LeCoultre Belgian Polo Masters.
For the past three years, Jaeger-LeCoultre has been the principal partner of the Belgian Polo Masters held in the Domaine Nottebohm, north of Antwerp.
In the words of Mr Yannis Broustas, Brand Manager Jaeger-LeCoultre, “The 3rd edition of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Belgian Polo Masters was a huge success. As the principal sponsor, we are proud to be associated with this magnificent polo tournament and to keep alive in this way the tradition and history that have united polo and Jaeger-LeCoultre since 1931. […] The Jaeger-LeCoultre Belgian Polo Masters is undeniably one of the high points of the international polo circuit.”
This year, more than 1,000 VIP guests attended the Belgian Polo Masters to watch the international players of the four European teams from Belgium, Switzerland, Germany and France compete for the Alfred Grisar Cup and the Jaeger-LeCoultre Belgian Polo Masters Cup.
On Saturday, September 19th, the Jaeger-LeCoultre team won the Alfred Grisar Cup, and on Sunday, September 20th, the same Swiss team also won the Jaeger-LeCoultre Belgian Polo Masters Cup.
For this 3rd edition of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Belgian Polo Masters, the watchmaking Manufacture unveiled its new Reverso. Indeed, in 2009 the Reverso is set to achieve the status of a great “icon” of refined watchmaking. The two new Reverso models: Grande Reverso 976 and Grande Reverso 986 Duodate – both in the new larger size – were on display in the VIP space where they were presented by Mr Denis Masson, Jaeger-LeCoultre watchmaker, who had made a special trip for this event.
