Munichtime 2009
Panel of experts awards 1st prize to the Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon à Quantième Perpétuel
On the eve of the Munichtime (Oct. 30 – Nov 01) the pre-opening party with representatives of the exposing brands, press and retail traditionally kicks off the event. More than 800 guests took advantage of the chance to see the Haute Horlogerie highlights prior to the official opening.
On the event a panel of experts elected the winning watches in 4 different categories. The “High Complications” category was won by a Jaeger-LeCoultre – just as in 2008 when the public vote favoured this Brand.
The pink gold Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon à Quantième Perpétuel convinced the experts and won the first prize. The winning watches of the public vote will be announced during the watch gala in Vienna on December 9th.
This exceptional model enriches the horological heritage of the Grande Maison with a double-complication movement. The technical characteristics of its automatic calibre enable it to achieve remarkable levels of performance. Entirely decorated by hand, it testifies to the mastery of rare crafts cultivated within the Grande Maison. Its refined aesthetics and exceptional finishes are a tribute paid by Jaeger-LeCoultre to traditional fine watchmaking.
Extended coverage of the event is now on-line in LeClub. Registration is free. Click here to join.
