Reverso Lady

16 x 33 mm - Stainless steel
At a time when white and silver-toned dials were the norm in the watch industry, LeCoultre & Cie was one of the few Maisons to offer coloured dials, reinforcing the resolutely modern character of the Reverso. In addition to the signature black dial of the Reverso, brown, red and blue versions were also available.

Equipped with the rectangular manual-winding LeCoultre Calibre Tavannes 051, the watch is fitted on a brown calfskin leather strap.

HERITAGE

A CLASSIC OF ART DECO DESIGN

In full bloom during the 1920s, the Art Deco movement reshaped the world thanks to its cardinal principle: “form must follow function”. While its reversible rectangular case and dial design exalt a simple geometry, playing with curves and straight lines, the principle was taken a step further as even the movements powering the Reverso are rectangular so as to make full use of the available space.
