THE COLLECTIBLES
Automatic "Lapis"
Nicknamed "Lapis Lazuli" by enthusiasts, this piece owes this special name to the colour of its blue dial and the pattern in which the lacquer has been applied to create subtle nuances on its surface, evoking the appearance of the ornamental stone. With varying shades ranging from sky blue to navy blue or almost black, each one of these timepieces is thus unique. As one of the rarest variants, it has become highly prized by enthusiasts and collectors.
Equipped with the automatic Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 825 with alarm function and date display, the watch is fitted on a new navy blue calfskin leather strap and also comes with its original box and papers.
HERITAGE
THE WORLD’S FIRST AUTOMATIC ALARM WRISTWATCH
With this piece, Jaeger-LeCoultre combined two of the most popular technical advancements of the 1950s: the alarm mechanism and automatic winding. Further pushing the boundaries of fine watchmaking, the Manufacture developed this watch in order to facilitate the life of its owner: the Memovox Automatic Calendar reminds them of the many deadlines throughout the day and doesn’t require any winding, a world first!
