OVERVIEW
NATURE’S POETRY, CARRIED FROM DAY TO NIGHT
INSPIRATION
NATURE, CAPTURED IN TIME
The Rendez-Vous Jewellery Night & Day captures a rare instant in nature: a bird gently resting on a branch, dogwood blossoms at their peak, and light slowly shifting into night. A fleeting scene becomes a lasting expression of elegance, emotion, and time.
A MOMENT OF STILLNESS
The Asian paradise flycatcher appears just after landing, bringing grace, balance, and quiet presence to the dial.A symbol of beauty and delicate freedom, it evokes the emotion of a suspended moment — brief, intimate, and now preserved within the watch.
A BLOOM IN SPRING
Korean dogwood flowers evoke the freshness of spring, a season of renewal, softness, and quiet joy. Chosen for their delicate beauty and short-lived bloom, they transform a passing natural moment into a lasting landscape of colour, depth, and refinement.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
CRAFTED IN LIGHT, SHAPED BY HAND
The Rendez-Vous Jewellery Night & Day reveals its refinement through the meeting of jewellery savoir-faire and artistic crafts. From diamond setting to miniature painting, every detail brings brilliance, depth, and emotion to the composition.
DIAMONDS ACROSS EVERY ANGLE
The diamond setting is entrusted to a single gem setter within the Atelier des Métiers Rares™. 48 baguette-cut diamonds illuminate the bezel, while diamonds continue across the lugs, case side, and crown. With 3.02 carats in total, the piece expresses jewellery craftsmanship in its most refined form.
MINIATURE ART ON SAPPHIRE
The dial is built in layers, creating a scene that evolves with the movement of time. On the calibre, a disc painted with moon and sun motifs completes a full rotation over 24 hours. Above it, the dial reveals two visual fields: an upper lacquered section, and a lower central section where the bird and dogwood blossoms are hand painted in miniature on sapphire. This layered construction gives the scene depth, transparency, and the feeling of nature slowly shifting from day to night.
CALIBRE
A DIAL IN MOTION
Composed of 226 components, the automatic Calibre 733 animates the new Night & Day display through a 24-hour rotating disc, creating the impression of a dial that changes from day to night. With 70 hours of power reserve, it brings lasting autonomy to this immersive expression of time.
MOVEMENT
Heritage
A revolution worn on the wrist
The very first wristwatches were worn by women in the early 1900s and were only later adopted by men. Edmond Jaeger and Jacques-David LeCoultre quickly understood that the wristwatch would revolutionise the entire industry. They also understood how this revolution could change the entire approach to watchmaking. The drive to craft watches that were thinner, more complex and that featured elements of high jewellery and complications, was inspired by women. For women, a watch was not only to tell time, but it was an ornament, a jewel, to accompany them throughout day and night. Our Rendez-Vous luxury watch collection continues this proud tradition today.
