DESIGN
THE SPIRIT OF COCKTAIL WATCHES
The Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds exemplifies how the lasting heritage of cocktail watches, which combined watchmaking crafts with high jewellery, continues to inspire modern aesthetics.
DIALOGUE BETWEEN ERAS
Born from the Art Deco movement and first seen in the 1920s, cocktail watches truly came into their own during the 1930s, thereby transforming the wristwatch into a sophisticated evening accessory. These timepieces were notable for their distinctive fusion of watchmaking and high jewellery, using precious materials, diamonds, or vivid coloured gemstones.
ART DECO AESTHETICS
Evoking the lines of the 1931 original Reverso, the Reverso Tribute dial showcases its characteristic iconography through applied indexes. Their extended shape and multi-faceted profile not only add depth but also echo the silhouette of the Dauphine hands, which sweep over the finely grained dial.

CRAFTSMANSHIP
COMBINING FINE CRAFTS
Paying homage to fine craftsmanship, the Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds ‘Or Deco Cocktail’ thoughtfully uses traditional techniques, such as meticulous gem-setting and precise bracelet construction, for the modern era.
46 RAIL-SET VIVID RUBIES
Through the rail setting technique, the gem-setter’s challenge lies in delicately folding the gold of the case over the 46 baguette-cut rubies without compromising the stones. Each stone is set edge-to-edge and secured thanks to the rail and the case’s gold, creating a continuous flow of light with no other points of support.
16 METRES OF GOLD THREADS
The Milanese bracelet, drawing on a technique originating in 13th-century Milan, is created from 16 metres and hundreds of intricately intertwined gold threads. Every section is carefully assembled, cut, hand-soldered, and polished to ensure its seamless, flowing design. This pezza fabric-like structure combines heritage craftsmanship with contemporary elegance, resulting in a slender and flexible bracelet.

The Reverso has an unique adaptability to evolve over time – balancing contrasting qualities: sporty or elegant, contemporary or retro; masculine or feminine, and often a blend of several attributes at once.
