RESTORATION
GUARDIANS OF TIME
La Grande Maison is one of the very few manufactures to have its own restoration workshop. Ten master watchmakers, guardians of ancient techniques, restore each timepiece with patience, precision, and deep respect for its uniqueness. They service movements, rebuild parts by hand, and source historical components from our exceptional heritage stocks, protecting the character and patina earned over decades.
BACK TO THE BIRTHPLACE
This meticulous work is museum-grade, breathing life back into the emblematic timepieces that shaped watchmaking history. Once restored and certified, each piece is ready to continue the remarkable story it began long ago in the Vallée de Joux.
THE BOOK
THE COLLECTIBLES BOOK
At the heart of The Collectibles lies a work of expertise and passion: the Collectibles Book. It is the most complete reference on vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre timepieces.
A BOOK FOR COLLECTORS
Written by the maison’s heritage experts after two and a half years of research, it gathers an extraordinary wealth of knowledge on the golden age of watchmaking. More than 160 archival documents were used to create an unprecedented compilation: 44 calibres, over 100 references, and no fewer than 237 dials are meticulously documented.
A PIECE OF HISTORY
Beyond serving as a guide to vintage watch collecting, The Collectibles book offers history enthusiasts a broader understanding of the evolution of the modern mechanical watch over the course of half a century, bringing a fresh perspective to the role played in that evolution by the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre.
