Date
Equipped with the new generation Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 899, the Polaris Date watch is dressed in black and steel. Visible beneath the sapphire crystal case-back, this reference movement - entirely designed, decorated and assembled at the Manufacture - offers almost three days of power reserve (70 hours). With its contemporary design and vintage touch, this new Polaris Date recalls the signature codes of the 1968 Memovox Polaris. The triangle on the inner bezel, the indexes, the hour numerals and the hands are coated with a vanilla tint. In its 42 mm steel case, the dial has three levels of finishing that bring depth and contrast to the model: an internal bezel with an opaline finish, a grained circle for the hours and luminescent indexes, as well as a sunray-brushed center. Enhancing the adventurous spirit of the collection, the rubber strap with the “Clous de Paris” pattern can be easily changed in a single movement.

Heritage
A sporting heritage born in the 1960s
In 1968, a new era was born with the launch of the Memovox Polaris, a watch housed in an unconventional large case, whose alarm function elevated the piece as an iconic diving watch. This distinctive fine watch was a bold statement of intent from Jaeger-LeCoultre’s watchmakers and the same sense of dauntless ambition and thirst for adventure continues across the Polaris collection today.
Made in our Manufacture
From its calibre to its case, every Jaeger‑LeCoultre luxury watch is designed, manufactured and assembled under one roof, at our Manufacture in the Vallee de Joux. Our obsession with quality is renowned as every Jaeger‑LeCoultre model undergoes strict “1,000 Hour Control” testing. This unique program provides internal certification tests that far exceed official chronometry tests.
It includes movement testing before and after casing and extends throughout assembly, according to conditions that match daily wear. A quality seal is engraved on the back of every watch once it meets our strict standards.
