DESIGN

A 1990’S VINTAGE-INSPIRED TIMEPIECE

Underlining the timeless appeal of classical design, the Master Control Classic, inspired by a 1995 Master Control reference, in a limited edition of 500 pieces.

REFINED PROPORTIONS

Set in a 36mm steel case, the Master Control Classic is faithful to the design philosophy of the original piece, exuding vintage appeal with its cool, silvery-white colour palette and minimalistic design. The watch fits seamlessly on the wrist with its slim 8.15mm case profile.

A VINTAGE COLOUR PALETTE

The blued central seconds hand provides a subtle touch of colour and a reference to classic watchmaking techniques. Fastened with a pin buckle, the warm brown ostrich strap, accented with lighter stitching, enhances the vintage appeal of the Master Control Classic.

A STORY ROOTED IN THE 1000 HOUR CONTROL

The caseback bears the emblem that set the early Master Control models apart, a mark of their ‘1000 Hour Control’ certification, and takes inspiration from the original medallion design of the 1990s. Behind this emblem lies a proprietary protocol, a stringent test of the fully cased watch – not just its movement – which established a new standard of precision when introduced in 1992 and has continually evolved alongside technological advances.

Heritage

A time reference since 1992

The sleek look of The Master Control luxury watch collection takes its inspiration from the classic designs of the golden age of watchmaking in the 1950s. The collection was launched in 1992 as a homage to the unmatched fine watchmaking heritage of Jaeger‑LeCoultre.
