THE PERPETUAL TIMEKEEPER, A WATCHMAKING OBJECTS EXHIBITION
Conceived in collaboration with designer Marc Newson, ‘The Perpetual Timekeeper’ exhibition takes place at Villa Mozart from 21 to 26 April, 10am - 6.15pm. On the occasion of Milan Design Week, it offers a unique opportunity to explore the fascinating story of the Atmos clock and the Maison’s legacy of creative design and technical ingenuity, expressed through exceptional timekeeping objects. The experience includes live watchmaking demonstrations and culminates in the unveiling of five new clocks.

AN INSPIRING VIEW OF DESIGNS ON TIME
In the 20th century, time became a field of exploration - shaped by science, design and modern life. From the invention of Atmos to desk clocks, travel clocks and everyday timekeeping objects, Jaeger-LeCoultre developed a distinctive vision of timekeeping in which function, art and mechanics converge. Discover this singular heritage through six chapters: the first three trace the story of the Atmos clock, while the final three reveal the remarkable diversity of the Maison’s timekeeping creations.
DESIGNER CLOCKS
A CREATIVE COLLABORATION WITH MARC NEWSON
Presented during ‘The Perpetual Timekeeper’ exhibition, the Maison highlights the long-standing collaboration with industrial designer Marc Newson, whose multidisciplinary work and fascination with the Atmos clock have driven a distinctive creative partnership since 2008. This unique collaboration has produced iconic Atmos clocks - Calibre 561 in 2008, 566 in 2010 and 568 in 2016 - culminating in three new designs this year: the Memovox Travel Clock, the Atmos ‘Tellurium’ and the reinterpretation of Calibre 568.
MEMOVOX TRAVEL CLOCK BY MARC NEWSON
Designed by Marc Newson as a modern tribute to historic Memovox travel clocks, this timepiece reinterprets the alarm function with striking design purity. Powered by the in-house Calibre 256, it offers a 12-day power reserve and a dedicated alarm barrel. A patented helicoidal power-reserve display, paired with a peripheral crown and rear function selector, preserves the clock’s sculptural clarity.
ATMOS HYBRIS ARTISTICA ‘TELLURIUM’ BY MARC NEWSON
Following the success of the Atmos Hybris Mechanica Calibre 590, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Marc Newson unveil a second edition of the most complex Atmos ever, set within a glass globe and limited to just three pieces. This extraordinary masterpiece traces true cosmic cycles, with a sapphire-set globe of stars and constellations and a delicately engraved lunar plate.
ATMOS DESIGNER 568 BY MARC NEWSON
The Atmos Designer 568 by Marc Newson combines lightness and transparency, its movement appears to float within a Baccarat crystal case, while a refined monochrome palette frames sunrise-sunset and Equation of Time displays. Its in-house calibre powers astronomical functions, including moon phases accurate to one day every 4,087 years.
MÉTIERS RARES™ CLOCKS
A CELEBRATION OF CRAFTSMANSHIP
At Jaeger-LeCoultre, the preservation and evolution of traditional decorative crafts remain central. The Maison is among the few to house its own Métiers Rares™ atelier, where these techniques are continually reinterpreted across its creations. This year, two new exceptional Atmos clocks are unveiled: the Atmos Régulateur Enamel Colibris, featuring a refined Grand Feu enamel miniature - requiring 230 hours of work - and the Atmos Régulateur Wood Marquetrie, showcasing intricate blue cameo wood marquetry on its panels.
