Master Tourbillon
Demonstrating an uncompromising commitment to accuracy and reliability, the Master Tourbillon bears the unmistakable creative imprint of the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre. Its tourbillon regulator is accompanied by a high-precision movement equipped with a large balance oscillating at a cadence of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The watch also displays a second time zone as well as a date display adjustable in both directions and which jumps promptly from the 15th to the 16th so as not to hide the titanium tourbillon carriage from view.

Tourbillon carriageThe robustly-built titanium carriage in grade 5 titanium weighs a mere 0.28 grams and thus requires a smaller than usual mount of energy to operate, thereby further enhancing precision. The special alloy used to make it enables the craftsmen to decorate this carriage with hand-polished bevels. |
Pointer-type date displaySo as not to hide the tourbillon carriage from view, the 15th and 16th date figures are placed on either side of the tourbillon aperture. An ingenious mechanism enables the hand to make this significantly larger jump between the two dates. Moreover, despite this horological complication, the date remains synchronised with the travel time zone and may thus jump either forwards or backwards. |
Monobloc rotor in 22-carat goldThe oscillating weight is made from a single block of 22-carat pink gold. The inscriptions are magnificently engraved in relief. The designers have created a dedicated opening enabling one to admire the tourbillon through the rotor. |
