THE STORY OF REVERSO
Born on the polo fields in 1931, the Reverso was created for British officers seeking a watch tough enough to withstand the sport’s blows, leading Jaeger-LeCoultre to invent its emblematic reversible case.
INSPIRATION ORIGINS
Inspired by Art Deco geometry and daring coloured dials, it quickly evolved from a technical breakthrough into a canvas for personal expression through engravings, lacquer, and enamel. More than a watch, the Reverso became a cultural symbol of innovation, individuality, and timeless style.
RESTORATION
BACK TO THE BIRTHPLACE
Each piece within The Collectibles program comes back to the Manufacture, into the expert’s hands of the watchmakers of the Restoration Workshop. There, ten master watchmakers are restoring the piece with patience, precision, and deep respect for its uniqueness. Together with the Heritage experts, they are uncovering the mysteries of these treasures from the past.
