THE DREAM SHAPER: SHAPING THE ART OF WEARING TIME
Honouring two centuries of evolving femininity and timepieces shaped by women’s shifting needs and desires, The Dream Shaper exhibition celebrates the story of feminine watches since the 1800s. This exhibition invites visitors to immerse themselves more deeply in Jaeger-LeCoultre’s enduring presence in the world of women watches through watchmaking, artistic and culinary experiences while also discovering the Maison’s latest releases.
EXPLORING THE THEME OF FEMININITY IN FOUR CHAPTERS
Over the decades, shifts in culture, fashion, and the evolving definition of femininity have profoundly influenced the design, purpose, and spirit of watchmaking. Women have not only mirrored these changes: they have helped shape them, guiding the art of timekeeping toward new realms of elegance, innovation, and meaning. This fascinating story is told in four chapters:
- The Age of Tradition – Ornamented Watches
- The Age of Freedom – Miniaturised Watches
- The Age of Emancipation – Shaped Watches
- The Age of Leadership – Complication Watches
