World timeAn ingenious display system allowing simultaneous display of the time in 24 cities of the world. You can read off the time at will in any city shown on the 24-hour ring, while two red arrows indicate the dateline. |
The priority time zoneThe Master World Geographic enables you to read off in parallel, on the subdial at 7 o'clock, the hour and minute in one of the 24 time zones indicated by the red arrow. In a subtle visual touch, "midday" and "midnight" are represented by logos on the 24-hour ring. |
Summer timeLocal time in certain countries moves one hour forward during the summer months, to a time officially called Daylight Saving Time but often referred to simply as Summer time. To facilitate access to this information, the city disc features an "S" to the left of each city name affected by this change. |
